鞋子除了外觀及功能性考量外，鞋子的舒適性越來越受到消費者的重視，除了穿著的舒適性外，鞋子的輕量化，一直是鞋業界追求的目標，而橡膠底的輕量化，更扮演重要的角色。

Beside the appearance and function of footwear, the perception of comfort is more and more important for customers during wearing and will influence their purchase willing .

§ 可生產有邊牆之大底， 底部底花不超過2m/m厚之隔色作業(生產多色大底) 。
§ 經設計後之底模可生產RUBBER LIGHT 牆/RUBBER底，可維持底部耐磨的物性，且達到輕量的目的。
§ RUBBER LIGHT的模具開製與一般橡膠模的開製方法相同。
§ 整體性質、外觀與橡膠大底相同，不會有類似EVA或PU外觀，產生氣孔的問題。
§ 成本不高於RB+EVA 、 RB+PU  或直接PU之OUTSOLE 。
•  Can be used for the outsole with sidewall and multicolor.  
•  Can be used for the outsole with RUBBER LIGHT sidewall and RB bottom, so can remain the characteristic of RB, especially in wear-resist performance and         reach  the goal of outsole lightening.  
•  The mold for RUBBER LIGHT is same as traditional rubber mold.
•  The quality and appearance are the same as traditional outsole. No more pore cell on the surface happened in EVA or PU.
•  The cost is not higher than the outsole of RB+EVA, RB+PU, or only PU.  

輕質大底為目前市面上較罕見的比重小于1而介於0.88-0.9之間，并可浮于水面上，且不完全靠發泡，而以1：1在模具上作業，重量輕于以全橡膠制作大底的15%左右之輕質材料，亦可搭配如耐油，止滑，抗靜電等功能來制造，該項輕質大底自2003年開發完成到今已生產近877萬雙。
